Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy the domain for me?

No, we do not register, purchase, or renew domains. You must purchase your domain from a domain registrar like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains before we can connect it to your website.

Is this a monthly fee?

No, the $200 Custom Domain Connection fee is a one-time charge for the initial setup. You will continue paying your domain registrar's annual renewal fee (typically $10-20/year depending on the domain extension).

What happens if I cancel my hosting with you?

If you cancel your hosting subscription, your domain will stop pointing to your landing page. However, you still own the domain and can point it to another website or hosting provider.

Can I move my site to another hosting provider later?

Yes, you own your domain. You can update your DNS settings at any time to point to a different hosting provider. However, we only provide setup assistance for the initial connection.

How long does DNS setup take?

Once you provide DNS access or complete the DNS updates we instruct, DNS propagation typically takes 4-48 hours. Most domains are live within 24 hours.

What if my domain expires?

If your domain expires, your website will stop working. You are responsible for renewing your domain with your registrar before it expires. We recommend setting up auto-renewal with your registrar.

Do I need to give you my GoDaddy/Namecheap password?

No, never. We will either:

  • Provide you with DNS records to update yourself, OR
  • Request temporary DNS-only access if your registrar supports it (many do not)

We never ask for full account passwords.

What if I already own a domain?

Perfect! We can connect your existing domain to your new landing page. Just provide us with the domain name and we'll send you DNS setup instructions.

Can you help me choose a domain name?

We're happy to provide general guidance, but the final domain choice and purchase are up to you. Make sure to choose something memorable, easy to spell, and relevant to your business.
